God’s Faithfulness in Our Lives
All my life, I’ve dreamed of receiving a standing ovation. Not for who I am, but because of what God can do through someone like me. I want others to see that God can do great things through us. He can use us in powerful ways.
In March 2025, at the Women of Compassion event, I experienced God's faithfulness firsthand. After college, I began my journey as an administrative assistant on the fundraising team at One More Child. As I left that position, I prayed for God to use me in a significant way with One More Child.
A Transformative Journey
Ten years later, I found myself in a reverse role. This time, I was in a position to give back and connect with One More Child. I was incredibly humbled when I received a standing ovation. The Lord had used me as a vessel for One More Child to receive millions in contributions. I was honored with the One More Child Advocacy Award.
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined such a journey. The intricate details of how God pulled everything together are beyond my comprehension. But He did. He continues to work in amazing ways, and He’s not done with you yet either.
Reflecting on the Impact
That evening, with beautiful flowers and my award in hand, I walked away with a profound realization. What we do here truly echoes in eternity. I was reminded of a quote from Gladiator, one of my favorite movies. God has been faithful in my life, answering the prayer I once prayed.
So, I encourage you to pray big. God is faithful. He can take the smallest things and use them to make a great impact when we are willing.
The Power of Prayer
Prayer is a powerful tool. It connects us with God and opens doors we cannot even fathom. When we pray boldly, we invite God's presence into our lives. We set the stage for extraordinary things to happen.
When we approach prayer with faith, we engage our hearts and minds. Remember, God's timing is impeccable. He knows when to act, and His plans often exceed our expectations. So don’t hesitate to bring your dreams and desires before Him.
