This weekend, something really sweet happened that reminded me just how AI can be used.
My husband—who's been working hard to grow his flight school business—decided we needed some intentional time together. Knowing how much I love flowers, he secretly turned to AI for help. He popped a few prompts into ChatGPT asking where he could take his wife for a fun, meaningful, local morning date. The result? He surprised me with a trip to a wildflower field that just opened up nearby. It was simple, affordable, and perfect. (And yes, he’s becoming quite the prompter—knowing how to ask AI the right questions is truly a skill!)
This little moment made me pause and think about how AI has woven itself into both our personal lives and professional rhythms—especially in marketing. So, I wanted to share a quick snapshot of the tools I personally use and what they’re best for:
🧠 1. ChatGPT – Idea Generation: When I’m facing a creative block or just need to jumpstart my thinking, ChatGPT is my go-to. It’s fantastic for sparking ideas—whether it's content concepts, taglines, or brainstorms. Just be careful not to treat it like a fact-checker. Due to its occasional “hallucinations,” I use it for creativity, not accuracy.
🔍 2. Perplexity – Trusted Research: Unlike ChatGPT, Perplexity is ideal for finding accurate, sourced information. It pulls from across the web and cites its sources clearly, which makes it my favorite for research-based content or when I need to verify facts quickly.
✍️ 3. Claude – Copywriting & Professional Comms: Claude is tailored for business professionals. It’s an amazing resource for drafting email copy, writing proposals, and even light coding support. If you work in a fast-paced professional setting and need well-written outputs, Claude delivers clean, context-aware writing.
🎨 4. Canva – Design + AI Editing: I’m not a graphic designer—but I collaborate with many. Canva is my design tool of choice when I need to create visuals or edit photos/videos quickly. And now with AI features built in, it makes designing faster and easier for marketers like me who need quality without heavy lifting.
Whether you’re growing a business and need to boost productivity with AI, planning a date, or just looking to simplify your workweek, these AI tools have made a real difference in my world—and they just might help in yours too.
Stay curious, stay creative, and make space for those sweet, simple moments. 🌼

📍 Hey. Hey Tiffany. Danielle Dobbs here with you today. Okay, so I'm gonna jump right into it. First, I'm gonna share a really cute story. So the cutest thing happened to me this weekend. My husband, he's trying to build a business. His flight school and he is doing superb. But over the last few months, year, I mean, he gets busier and busier, but we wanna spend more time with each other.
And so anyways, this weekend he impressed me. And we're huge. We're both huge fans of ai. Uh, how can you not be, especially in the marketing world? So he ended up putting in ChatGPT things about Me, which. Also, I was like, okay, he's a pretty good prompter when it comes to knowing what to tell ChatGPT about what he wants, um, which is a skill by the way, if you're not very familiar with even navigating ChatGPT or any AI app or subscription, I.
You do have to learn a few tips about how to ask it and for what you want. The better you get it, the better results you get. He surprised me because he ended up saying, Hey, where should I take my wife on a really cute morning date? And it's local and I don't know what he put in there. But regardless, it impressed me.
And it was a flower field that was brand new. They, they have not been around very long, and so we went and picked a bunch of wild flowers and I love flowers. I have fresh flowers every week, and it was cheap. It was like 13 bucks to get a whole, a whole vase in there. Um, so super fun. Date only. You were only out there for a little short bit 'cause it was hot.
We're in Florida. It's getting there, especially where it's in, just hit June, so we're not quite in August yet, but it is, it's hot. It's Florida, it's sunny. So that impressed upon me to talk about AI today and other conversations I've just had with revenue generating professionals as of late.
Doing a quick synopsis of what AI I use and the purpose for them. So in marketing specifically, I probably use other things more heavily than others. Uh, but my husband has been on this AI track too, and I've got him as a firm believer to use it to increase productivity. And we do, we do. So the first one I'll talk about chat g pt, the one everybody knows about chat.
GPT is mainly idea generation. If I am looking for ideas . It is really beautiful in helping me come up with great ideas or just get my brain going, right, because I still want some originality in everything that I do, but it just helps, it actually helps expand that creativity rather than.
A feeling like I have a block in my head or, writer's block. So regardless, ChatGPT is a great app for idea generation. Now you have to be careful because the thing about how Chat JBT is, it's, is this thing called hallucination. So if you put information in requesting, Hey, can you give me more information about.
This person or this business or this topic, it can make up information. So that's why you use it as an idea generator, but not necessarily. A source for information, which leads me to the next app Perplexity. Perplexity is an awesome app when it comes to sources. If you want an app that you're trying to figure out.
Okay, I need some great information and you want it to collectively pull across the internet. Perplexity is an awesome tool. It will tell you every source it pulls information for and give you a synopsis in the way that you want it. And then the other we use is Claude is known for coding, which I dunno how many coders I get on here listening, but apparently it is exceptional and I've done a tad bit of coding and marketing, but I am not a web developer.
And then two, it's copywriting. So it is definitely built for the business space, the professional space. If you are needing assistance in how to write emails or writing proposals, apparently it is the bomb. So Claude is where it's at. And then lastly, Canva. So Canva has a ton of, it's been around, but it's been integrating some ai.
And I am not a graphic designer, though I work with many graphic designers, in my role and in my field. But if I'm just using for personal stuff or actually work, we, we even work with our graphic designer and utilize Canva and it is a, it is just an awesome tool to be able to incorporate.
Uh, design, but also it has AI at its fingertips to help edit and create things as well. So that's the overview today, perplexity is great for source finding information. Chat GPT is great for idea generation. Claude is great for copywriting and coding, and campus is great for graphics and being able to edit photos and videos.
So I hope that's been a resourceful. Quick overview and have a great week. All right, bye.
