Hey hey! Tiffany Danielle Dobbs here, and today I want to share a simple but powerful tip—one that I’ve given many times over the years, and yet, it’s often the first thing people overlook.
Let me start with a quick story.
Not long ago, I met with a business owner I absolutely adore. He reached out asking for some marketing advice, so I agreed to meet and hear more about what he and his son were working on. Before our meeting, I did a little prep—reviewed their website, social media accounts, and overall brand presence. And let’s just say, one thing was missing: people.
I gave them clear, practical advice: 👉 Put people in your photos. 👉 Show them enjoying your product. 👉 Make your content relatable.
Fast forward almost a year later, I get another call: “Hey Tiffany, we really need your help again.” So I went by to check in.
They told me they were struggling to attract more people and needed to grow their audience. I asked, “Do you remember what I shared with you during our last meeting?” The son jumped in, “Yes! I’ve got all the notes.” “Perfect,” I said. “Then tell me—did you ever put people in your photos?”
Spoiler: they hadn’t.
Here’s the thing—people connect with people. We relate to smiles, shared experiences, and authentic moments. That’s why great brands personify their products. It’s not just about what you offer; it’s about how your product makes others feel.
If you’re running a business and want to grow—start by making your content more human. Grab a friend, a customer, or a family member and snap a few genuine photos of them enjoying what you offer. Let your audience see the experience, not just the item.
Want to take it further? ✨ Add client testimonials. ✨ Share behind-the-scenes stories. ✨ Highlight how your product or service fits into real life.
So here’s your action step: Add people to your photos. That simple change can make a big difference in how your brand is perceived—and how your audience engages.
And if you're not sure how to get started, I’m here to help. Whether you need a photographer recommendation, creative ideas, or just a second set of eyes—I’ve got your back.
That’s today’s tidbit of expertise. Now go out there and make your brand relatable, real, and human.

Hey, hey Tiffany. Danielle Dobbs here, and today I'm going to share a little story. I'll start out with a story and. What advice I've been giving. And sometimes people opt not to take it, which is their choice. So there was a gentleman who I absolutely adore and he had asked for some advice as far as advertising and marketing.
So I ended up meeting with him just. Just to kind of see where he was at and see if I could help him in any way. And he brings over his son and his son ends up also sharing what he's been doing. And yes, I did my prep research too before I met with them to see what they were doing on their socials. And the content needed to be changed up.
And if you're any business, you need to think about how you have. People in your content, how are they enjoying your product overall? You need to show them smiling. You need to show them enjoying life. And it's funny because almost a year ago, around this time, I had met with them and about a week ago I said, I got a call.
I said, Hey, we really need your help. Come by, see if you can give us advice again. We'd really appreciate it. So I ended up going there and checked in how they were doing and had looked at their social media again, and the number one thing I had mentioned to them, which was adding people in their content, they did not do.
So I got there and I said, Hey, how are you guys doing? What's been going on? Uh, we, well, . We, we need more people. We need people here. We need, we need to bring more people in. He said, well, what do you remember from the time that we met?
So I looked around and I said, okay, here's the deal. About a year ago, I don't know if you remember, and the sun said, oh, I have all the notes. I said, okay, good. I'm hoping you'll have this in your notes. And the number one thing I recommend is put people in your photos.
On your socials and show them enjoying your product. Listen, we relate to people. That's why brands personify their business. They try to make it relatable. So if your business and you're starting up, or you're running and you're trying to grow and you do not have people in your photos to be able to say, Hey, people love coming here, and if you wanna.
Follow up with client testimonials about your product even better. But the first step is just get people in your photos smiling and enjoying it. Get your friend, get a family member. Just get them enjoying your product and how they're helping you. So people look at if a product and if you are not feeling like there's growth, that's one of the things that you can take a look at.
So the action is put people in your photos, and if you're uncertain about it or you have questions about how to go about doing that, you can connect with me. I've got plenty of friends, they're photographers or connections and I can help in any way that you need me to, to help give advice in that sense.
So, all right, well, that's my that's my tidbit of expertise today, and have a great day. Thanks.
